Bounded by design

Constrain the system. Keep the judgment.

What a solution is allowed to do, who releases the work that commits you, and what evidence remains afterwards. These are the questions a security review actually asks.

Design commitments

How we build. Engineering commitments to agree with your teams, not a certified control set or a claim about released platform capability.

  1. Scoped authority per operation

No model gets general-purpose access. Ever.

Each action is defined explicitly: which system, which records, read or write, within which limits.

  2. Authorisation at the system of record

Your existing access rules keep applying.

Permissions are enforced where the data lives, for the identity the system acts for. A solution never becomes a way around them.

  3. Human release for consequential actions

The system prepares the work. A person commits it.

Where an action commits the organisation, the proposal arrives with its evidence attached, so the review is a real check rather than a rubber stamp.

  4. Evidence trail by construction

Recorded as it happens, not reconstructed afterwards.

What was read, what was proposed, who approved it and what changed, available when an auditor asks.

How the architecture holds

Many inputs. One decision that a person owns.

A solution can read broadly and prepare thoroughly. What it cannot do is commit the organisation on its own. That single constraint is what makes the rest safe to build.

  • Authority per operation

Each action names its system, its records and its limits. There is no general-purpose access to grant or to lose.

  • Enforced where data lives

Permissions hold at the system of record, for the acting identity. A solution never becomes a route around them.

  • Minimised by default

The strongest protection for personal data is not processing it. We scope to what the workflow genuinely needs.

What we support you with

Your security team does not have to take our word for any of this. These are the things we do as part of an engagement.

  1. We answer your questionnaire

Bring the document you send every vendor.

We work through it with your security team rather than returning a generic response pack.

  2. Requirements before architecture

Constraints are an input to the design, not a late surprise.

Data classification, residency, retention, access and oversight are agreed with your teams before we design the solution.

  3. We build to the standards you are assessed against

ISO 27001 and 42001 structure how we work.

Their control areas shape our engineering practice. Where a specific certificate is required, we tell you what we hold rather than implying coverage.

  4. Your own review is welcome

    Test it yourself.

We support penetration testing, architecture assessment and whatever documentation your governance process needs.

Bring us your security review.

Your questionnaire, your data-protection requirements and the systems in scope. We would rather work through them now than at the end.
