How Seehaus e.V. consolidated its data and freed time for its mission
Context
Seehaus e.V. is a non-profit organization founded in 2001 and based in Leonberg near Stuttgart, Germany, working in youth welfare, crime prevention, and victim support. As an alternative to conventional prison, the organization runs open-form juvenile detention facilities in Leonberg (Baden-Wuerttemberg) and Leipzig (Saxony), including its own vocational training workshops in carpentry, construction, metalwork, and landscaping. Its work is guided by the principles of restorative justice, placing the needs of victims and the idea of making amends at the center while encouraging offenders to take responsibility for their actions.
The bottleneck
Data lived in separate places, many processes ran manually, and areas with little digitalisation ate into time for the mission.
What we did
We developed a solution that brings Seehaus's data together in one place and noticeably simplifies processes, including areas that had seen little digitalisation before.
Results
- Data consolidated in one place
- Noticeably simplified processes, including previously undigitalised areas
- More time for the organisation's work for people
“From the very beginning, Ambit IQ quickly understood our needs as a non-profit organization and worked with us to develop a solution that brings our data together in one place and noticeably simplifies many of our processes. This has allowed us to efficiently support areas that had seen little digitalization before, and we gain valuable time for what really matters: our work for people. Working with them is straightforward, pragmatic, and always solution-oriented. You can tell the team isn't simply trying to sell technology, they truly understand our mission.”
