The order that typed itself
Most manufacturers still re-key every incoming PO into the ERP by hand. Here is what changes when the order enters itself and people only see the exceptions.
Walk through any order desk and you will find the same scene: a PO arrives as a PDF or an email, and someone types it into the ERP line by line. It is slow, it is error-prone, and nobody chose it; it accumulated.
An autonomous order workflow reads the incoming document, validates SKU, quantity, pricing, lead time and credit against your master data, resolves the standard discrepancies on its own and creates the order in the ERP, acknowledgment included.
